9- Santa Monica Hotels are promoting special rates for evacuated area residents at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, Gateway Hotel, Hilton Santa Monica, The Pierside Santa Monica, Regent Santa Monica Beach, Sandbourne Santa Monica, Shore Hotel, Shutters on the Beach and Viceroy Santa Monica. 10- The Queen Mary announced it is pricing rooms for fire evacuees at $189 which include a voucher for a breakfast buffet for two people and waives pet fees. More info on its Instagram or call (562) 435-3511.
11- Big Bear is offering evacuee lodging at deeply discounted rates. More info HERE.
12- Long Beach hotels and Santa Barbara hotels are both offering discounts to fire victims.
13- YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is opening its locations that aren’t affected by the fires for temporary shelter, showers, basic amenities, and mental health support. They have also teamed up with L.A. Unified School District to provide childcare services for essential workers and affected families until schools reopen.
